| Job Description: CORPORATE CONTROLLER
Controller position located just west of Boston for a fast growing, privately held, software company.
· Will be responsible for managing the accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
· Responsible for the preparation of financial statements and GAAP compliance.
· Ownership of the management and integrity of the financial reporting process.
· Ensure proper software revenue recognition treatment (97-2)
· Manage the annual audit process and serve as point of contact with external auditors.
· Develop, implement and improve policies and procedures and internal controls.
· Identify and implement improvements with a focus on automation and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years accounting & finance experience in a corporate environment including strong management experience
Strong technical accounting and specific revenue recognition experience
CPA preferred
Public company and SOX experience
