| Job Description: Sr. Financial Analyst to be a key contributor to the forecasting and analysis of the company’s financials and provide direct support to the Division Management and Corporate Finance.
- Building analytical tools regarding results in the areas of sales, payroll and overhead expenses.
- Work closely with management and outside department heads to determine financial measurements, and build analysis to report results.
- Responsible for key portions of the annual business plan and monthly forecasts.
- Analyze accounts compared to budget, forecast and prior year and explain variances at month end.
- Provide overall accounting and financial support to the Division and Corporate Management.
- Perform various projects and ad-hoc analyses.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 years of financial analysis experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Possess a strong attention to detail.
- Work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
- Analyze and assess each situation with determination and the willingness to find a solution.
- Independently manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish and build positive working relationships with associates throughout the Corporation.
- Knowledge of Lawson General Ledger a plus.
