The Senior Tax Accountant responsible for assisting with federal, state and local tax research necessary to maintain Company’s compliance, implementation of tax planning projects and preparation of quarterly SEC filings.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·          Preparation and analysis of quarterly income tax provision, including current & deferred provision and tax reserve analysis.

·          Preparation/ review of monthly use and beverage excise tax returns.

·          Preparation of necessary documentation for income tax and personal property tax returns to provide to third party preparers.

·          Coordination of state and federal tax audit requests

·          Maintenance and documentation of response and resolutions to all tax notices received.

·          Maintenance of all sales exemption certificate requests.

·          Maintenance and reconciliation of all tax related and inter-company general ledger accounts (including tax-related accruals) in conjunction with the monthly closing process.

·          Assist with preparation of quarterly SEC filings.

·          Tax research

·          Ad hoc tax-related projects.

REQUIREMENTS

·          3- 4 years corporate tax experience, preferably multi-state, or tax experience in public accounting firm required.

·          Public accounting audit experience a plus (SEC preferable) or corporate general ledger accounting experience a plus.

·          Bachelor's degree in accounting; minimum 3.0 GPA required.

·          Microsoft applications (Excel & Word) required.
