| Job Description: This person is responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state and Canadian payrolls. Provides leadership and operational expertise to the payroll team. Insures payroll accuracy, resolves payroll and timekeeping issues, audits and reviews payroll results and prepares various payroll documents and reports for management. Participates in modifications and enhancements to the HRIS/Payroll and Time and Attendance systems. Insures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Additional Requirements include:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience. CPP certification
· 7+ years experience in payroll processing with at least 3 years supervisory experience. Proven experience with ADP payroll and HRIS, Kronos time and attendance system and report writing tools. Thorough understanding of payroll administration, including federal and state regulations. Experience managing multi-state and Canadian payrolls to North America.
· Ability to manage payroll team, lead and direct projects, develop reports and create business correspondence and procedure manuals.
· Must be detail oriented, organized, conscientious, possess strong written/verbal communication skills, and have proven ability to effectively research and resolve payroll issues.
